Detailed Itinerary

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. After check-in, you will have free time to rest after your journey or explore the nearby tourist area of Thamel. In the evening, there will be a short briefing about the trek, route, safety guidelines, and final preparations.

Today is reserved for trek preparation and equipment checking. Our team will assist you with permits and ensure all necessary trekking gear is ready. You may also take this opportunity to explore some of Kathmandu’s famous cultural landmarks such as Boudhanath Stupa or Swayambhunath Stupa.

After breakfast, travel to Pokhara either by a scenic flight ( 25 minutes) or by road ( 6–7 hours). Pokhara is known for its beautiful lakes and stunning views of the Annapurna and Machapuchare mountain ranges. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing walk along Phewa Lake.

After breakfast, drive from Pokhara to Ulleri where the trek begins. The trail gradually ascends through beautiful rhododendron forests and traditional villages before reaching Ghorepani, a popular stop for trekkers heading to Poon Hill.

Early in the morning, hike to Poon Hill to witness one of the most spectacular sunrise views in the Himalayas. The viewpoint offers panoramic views of peaks including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, and Machapuchare.

The trail descends through forests and terraced fields before reaching Chhomrong, a beautiful Gurung village located at the base of the Annapurna Sanctuary. This village offers excellent views of Annapurna South and Machapuchare.

From Chhomrong, the trail descends to Chhomrong Khola before climbing gradually through bamboo and rhododendron forests. Passing through small settlements such as Bamboo, we eventually reach Dovan.

Today’s trek continues through the narrow valley of the Modi Khola. Passing Deurali, the landscape gradually opens into alpine terrain as we reach Machapuchare Base Camp. The area offers magnificent close-up views of surrounding Himalayan peaks.

After breakfast, trek to the highlight of the journey—Annapurna Base Camp. Located in the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, the base camp provides breathtaking 360-degree views of towering Himalayan peaks including Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare.
After enjoying the spectacular scenery and taking photographs, descend back to Dovan.

The trail descends through Chhomrong and continues to Jhinu Danda, well known for its natural hot springs located near the river. After a relaxing break, drive back to Pokhara.

After breakfast, return to Kathmandu either by flight or scenic drive. The remainder of the day is free for shopping, relaxation, or exploring the city.
