Detailed Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax after your journey or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel. In the evening, you will receive a short briefing about the trek.

Today is reserved for preparation. Your trekking guide will review the itinerary, check equipment, and assist with permits required for trekking in Sagarmatha National Park. You may also spend time exploring the cultural and historical sites of the city.

Early in the morning, we take a scenic mountain flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. After landing, the trek begins with a pleasant walk through Sherpa villages and pine forests along the Dudh Koshi River, leading to the village of Phakding.

Today’s trek follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges. After entering Sagarmatha National Park, the trail climbs steadily through forests until reaching Namche Bazaar, the main trading hub of the Khumbu region.

To help your body adapt to the altitude, we spend an extra day in Namche Bazaar. A short hike to nearby viewpoints offers stunning panoramas of Himalayan peaks including Mount Everest and Lhotse. You can also visit the Sherpa Museum or explore the local market.

Leaving the main Everest Base Camp route, the trail heads toward the quieter Gokyo Valley. The path gradually climbs through rhododendron forests and alpine landscapes before reaching the small settlement of Dole.

The journey continues through scenic alpine terrain with magnificent mountain views. Passing through yak pastures and small lodges, we arrive at Machhermo, a peaceful village surrounded by Himalayan peaks.

Today’s trail follows the edge of the impressive Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal. Along the way, you will pass a series of beautiful glacial lakes before reaching Gokyo Village beside the famous Gokyo Lakes.

Early in the morning, we hike to the summit of Gokyo Ri to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. From the top, trekkers can enjoy panoramic views of towering peaks including Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Lhotse. After descending, there is time to explore the sacred Gokyo Lakes.

After enjoying the beauty of the Gokyo Valley, we begin our descent along the same trail, passing Machhermo before reaching Dole for the overnight stay.

The trail continues downhill through forests and traditional Sherpa settlements until we return to Namche Bazaar.

On the final trekking day, we follow the Dudh Koshi River back to Lukla, passing through Phakding and other villages along the route.

After breakfast, we take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore the city.
